 Right. So first off, let me asure you that this car is mechanically sound.
I am a desig engineer at Bentley motors, and fully understand cars. I bought my wife this car a little over a year ago, as she had enjoyed owning one before and wanted another.
The car cam to us from a lady owner who was also same age as us, and had maintained the service history very well.
Rather than wait and see if this car had any issues with the head gasket, I managed to obtain a brand new cylinder head, not 2nd hand, brand new. and changed the cylinder head, and gasket.
I fitted all of the proper parts needed to rid this car of the risky problems you get with petrol engined Rovers. and as such, this car is mechanically fantastic.
This car has covered a very low mileage for its age, possibly one of the lowest, being 53,000.
the body is in excellent condition, as is the interior.
the reason we are now selling is that my 17 year old son needs to learn to drive, and so my wife has to step down to a smaller engined car. much to her dismay.
the car has a fab spec, it has electric windows, remote central locking, electric roof, Air conditioning ( re-charged last summer). Power steering, ABS, Bluetooth stereo, with a socket to plug in your Ipod or MP3 player.
Look, the car is really really nice, if you are after a Streetwise there really is not one any better i ca think off.
I personally guarantee that the engine and gear box are brilliant. the car has never been stolen, or subject to any insurance claims. it really is a nice car.
the only fault is has is the clock ( pictured) does not have all of its characters showing. but as you can see in the pics, the radio also has a clock so even this is not an issue.
I am NOT a trader trying to get your hard earned cash for a car i bough somewhere and want a quick buck, likewise, I am NOT trying to pedal some part ex to you. I am just a bloke selling a fabulous car currently owned by my Wife.
the Private plate is NOT included.
Now, i dont want anyone contacting me telling me they want the car, blah blah, without coming and knocking my door, having a look, etc. If you are serving with the Navy, and want to buy a car, Blah blah, not interesed. likewise if you want to pay £7000 into my account and i put the balance in the car..... not interested.
