Rover 200i 8v 1999 214i E Genuine 44,000 mls 6 Months MOTC. I have owned this car and used it daily for over four years with no problems. In the last year it has had four new tyres and battery fitted and has had the exhaust replaced in my ownership. I bought the car from the original owner having covered just 17,000 mls, it has now covered 44000 but this will go up slightly as I am still using the car. The car has 6 months MOTC and has always gone straight through the test with no faults. The car had a new cam belt fitted just before I bought it (because of the age of the belt not the mileage it had done). The car has the not so common tapping 8v engine, the valve gear was tapping when I bought it and its still tapping just the same, but at least it doesn"t have the head gasket eating 16v engine. The car is 17 years old so the wheel arches have some rust and there are dint"s in the bodywork but it is priced to use for the remainder of the MOT then do what you like with it.
