Rover 220 COUPE TURBO ORIGINAL JAP IMPORT IN GREY
This auction is for my recently purchased charcoal grey 1998 Rover 220 coupe turbo. Due to personal reasons I now have to sell the car which is such a shame for me as I hunted ages for a really clean and genuine one . The car was originally manufactured is 1996 but was not imported into the uk until 1998. The car has all the original Japanese stickers. These are on the sun visor, inside the fuel cap and under the bonnet. The car has been so well looked after in its life and the previous owner had it for over 5 years. The car has been rolling roaded and it made 216 bhp and 298nm of torque so its defo not shy. I will list all the modifications that it has below. Everything has been done to this car to make it perfect and I have so much paperwork and receipts to prove it. Even got the original handbook with all books and also loads of old tax discs. The bodywork is in near mint condition and you can defo tell the car has been well looked after and cleaned regularly. May have a few tiny age related marks but car really does look so nice. No nasty dents or scratches at all.

Drives fantastic and the colour is gorgeous. These cars are becoming so rare nowadays, Try and find another grey import one is this condition! The car comes with a standard cat too when it comes to MOT time. The previous owner carbon wrapped the roof due to the usual paint fade at the front by the top of windscreen. Can be removed if you want too. I have so much paperwork for this car its unreal. Everything in the car works as it should and it drives lovely. Boost comes in nice and strong and pulls really well. There"s no smoke or bad noises from the car at all. The car has mot until September 2015 and as you know it will need tax when the new keeper has taken the car off my hands. There are a few minor little things that need sorting but these can be done very cheap.
Oil pressure gauge not working, just needs a sandwich plate fitting between oil filter and engine and then will workSlight exhaust blow from flexi section but this can be replaced very cheaplyPassenger rear wheel arch has some bubbling but hasn"t gone through paintwork, previous owner didn"t get this done as he wanted to show people how genuine it really was. Its just surface rust so will only need rubbing back and then re painting.Like I said these are only very minor things that need doing and they do not affect the way the car looks or drives at all. Also I would like to point out the mileage is very low, only just came onto 88k and this is genuine mileage too. The car has a full alarm and immobiliser fitted too with certificate. I know what this car is worth and will not listen to people that offer silly amounts of money for it. Like I said find another genuine grey turbo import with all these mods too.
