Lovely Rover 25 for sale. This car is in overall excellent condition, particularly inside. The exterior does have one or two marks, as to be expected with age, the worst of which is a small amount of rust bubbling on the O/S front wing. I am including a spare wing in the correct colour with the sale of the vehicle for this reason.
The engine runs perfectly, with no nasty noises, lumps or hesitation. I have just fitted the car with a new cambelt, water pump and belt tensioner and can confirm there are no signs of the much feared head gasket failure that became synonymous with the K-series engine.
The clutch and gearbox feel fine and the car drives fantastically. The underside shows no sign of any real corrosion and the steering feels tight. I expect this should be a good, cheap runner for somebody for a few years to come.
