This car had a new head gasket approx. 2 years ago. Unfortunately the car overheated and not being mechanically minded my wife drove it home from work (approx. 15 miles). A mechanic advised that the water pump was broken, but did advise that this may not cure the problem. We purchased water pump and timing belt but unfortunately the head gasket now needs replacing. Car has been driven 5 miles only since these parts were replaced.Apart from the above issue with the head, the car is mechanically sound with an MOT until Aug 2015. The only reason I am not spending the money to get this back on the road is that I was changing the car anyway this year and this has just forced my hand.Car will need to be collected and this has been advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to remove.All reasonable offers will be considered.
