Rover 416 Tourer Estate 1996(P)
MoT until August 2017 (currently SORN)
1600cc K-series petrol engine (made by Honda), has since been fitted with the thicker Freelander head gasket.
Only 71k miles on her, previous owner had her for 11 years. I bought her in May as a stop-gap .I now have a diesel for work so she has to go.
Alarm and immobiliser, remote central locking, electric front windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof.
Tomcat half leather sports interior in great condition,
Tomcat sideskirts and spats,
Rear windows tinted,
Smoked rear lights,
Carbon wrapped interior trim and black headlining,
Front splitter,
Carbon look air intake,
Sports exhaust (bit ropey in places) with nice relaxed tone,
Alloys (scuffed), 40 profile tyres with plenty of tread,
Lowered suspension, OMP front strut brace - handles well.
Sony CD player & JVC 6x9s in parcel shelf.
Lacquer peeling in places and cat-scratched roof but with a little TLC she could shine again. Could always wrap the roof with vinyl. Drives well but 2nd gear synchro is worn and crunches sometimes. Handles well on the lowered suspension and 40 profile tyres, 45s would give you improved ride and clearance though.
Lovely little car with lots of personality worth spending some time on, ripe for a 2 litre turbo transplant!!
