This advert is for Betty my Rover 75 estate.
Good points first: The car does have just over 200k miles on it but you wouldn"t know from looking at her, there"s a few scratches on the paint which are to be expected but no signs of any accident damage that I can see. The interior is also very clean for the age and also has a full set of original Rover branded floor mats. The boot is huge too!
Betty also comes with quite a few options such as parking sensors, an AM/FM radio with controls on the steering wheel, front and rear electric windows, walnut look dash trim, rear cup holders, (most important feature of any car) as well as rear air vents and ash tray etc. and as far as I can tell everything in it works. The engine (although may need a service) runs mint, it"s a diesel so it can take the mileage and the clutch and gearbox seem okay too. Also according to the previous owner it had rear brakes done 12 ish months ago.
Now for the issues: This car is being sold as spares or repair due to a few easily fixed issues; first of which is the front passenger side spring has broken, second of which is the exhaust has an apparent hole in it (I can"t personally hear it), it needs adjustment on the handbrake and the tyres may need looking at to pass an MOT. The car is currently SORN so would need to be trailered away. The other issues that will not fail an MOT are that the passenger side rear door will not open from the inside and the front passenger electric window switch doesn"t work (not the end of the world).
