Rover 75 Connoisseur 1.8T – Spares or Repairs
For sale is my top of the range Rover 75 Connoisseur. I’m selling it as spares or repairs, as it has started losing water somewhere, which can lead to intermittent overheating. I don’t believe this is a head gasket failure as it is showing none of the usual signs (i.e. water in the oil). There are a few other issues with it (full list below) including a large dent on the driver’s side rear quarter. The car is still being used and can be driven away although I wouldn’t recommend taking it any great distance (just in case). It’s a very comfortable car with mod cons that would put many brand new cars to shame! Unfortunately I haven’t got the time to look into the overheating issue but it’s too good to scrap. This may be an easy repair project for someone, or a cheap way to upgrade a lower spec Rover 75.

Not so good:
Intermittent overheating due to unknown water loss
Large dent to the rear quarter (someone reversed into it in a car park)
Can sometimes have a slight misfire when accelerating hard
The LCD trip computer has an intermittent fault
The rear window blind has recently stopped working
General dents and marks you’d expect from a 17 year old car
