One of the very last 75s this was registered a week before Rover went bust.In Platinum Silver code MCN it says gold on the V5 and has hints of green! Black leather in good order with just light wear on the bolster.Has had pretty much everything replaced over the last year or two, struts front/rear, bottom arms, drop links, tyres, brakes, air con compressor and a lot more I can’t remember. Has a healthy file of history.Everything seems to work, original stereo with cd changer, (sounds particularly good in my opinion) dual climate nice and icy, tidy 17” alloys that have been painted in the past.Really really drives very nicely and is a deceptively fast motorway cruiser. It looks lovely and I am sure I’ll regret selling it but my wife’s just got a new car so I’ve now got her old VW...It’s 13 years old so not perfect but I can think of nothing at all that needs doing. Use it now or show and shine it, I think it’s that good.I recently had it serviced and it has a clean bill of health.It’s even got TWO KEYS!!!Has heated electric seats, mirrors, windows, 5 speed auto with sports, economy and winter modes all working lovely.Bad bits - that I know of:Drivers mirror has taken a whack at some point so the glass wobbles but isn’t broken nor the housing and the electrics work.Cup holder broken!Boot carpet bowed from heavy shopping bags.Significant though - I had a disastrous diesel leak, which turned out to be nothing more than a blown o-ring on the fuel filter! It looked pretty spectacular when it happened but it is now FIXED. HOWEVER despite my best efforts there is still a diesel pong under the bonnet which may have pervaded to pollen filter. It does whiff when started sometimes but once you’re on the move or have recirculate on the smell goes.
