For sale is my Rover 75. It has the brilliant BWM Diesel engine that regularly gives me 60 MPG at a steady 70 on the motorway.I have owned her for nearly 5 years and the chap before me had her for 8 years.Their is a service history up to 103000 miles. I have serviced her myself since then, being an ex Engineer.MOT til 14th September 2018She has never let me down.The model is the range topping Connoisseur SE. PLEASE READ -
The previous owner fitted an Alpine CD / Radio. The steering wheel controls do not work with it.I have considered retro fitting an original Rover system, but have learned to live with it.
The Trip computer"s pixelated screen has gone the same way as many others and has been missing lines for a few years.
There is some wear on the drivers seat and a historic cigar burn (Rover 75 drivers don"t smoke fags!)
There is a light suspension twang at the front caused by worn top strut bearings. A pair costs £38. (I can provide 1, will try to find the other) This has never been an advisory and does not effect driving or comfort. I have lived with it for the last 2 years and have never seemed to find the 2 hours it takes to change them.
Reason for selling? I now have a Jaguar (mid life crisis!) and all my effort have been getting her sorted. So I need the room in my drive.
Please remember the the car is 13 years old now. She is very tidy externally with a few very light paint chips a very hard to spot tiny dents. Drives beautifully.
