This is my dad"s car that he no longer requires , it has been a great car over the last 3 years .He has put about 21,000 miles on it since his ownershipNow on 135k The car has 11 months mot The body work is clean and tidy The interior is clean and non smoker The car drives very well and starts first time
Good bits
It has had a new alternator ,and a new battery a month ago (with receipts £160 ish)Its had a new water pump and service last year (with receipt £85 ish)Two new tyres on the front (with receipt £110 ish) Full MOT two weeks ago (£60 ) with couple of new bulbsA new wheel bearing on the rear Two new rear suspension springs It has a matching alloy wheel spare in the boot The car is fitted with a tow bar and electrics ( don"t know if work as he never towed anything )
Not so good bits
The central locking fob wont open it but it locks it ( I think a slightly loose door panel card isn"t helping )The chrome inner handles fell off ( they are with the car in door pocket) The car is obviously used and will have age related marks around the body The rear tyres are perfectly legal but will require changing before the winter The airbag light illuminates now and again ,usually if the passenger front seats are moved back n forthThe clutch cylinder attached to the pedal has a tiny leak , this made it difficult to select 1st gear , the fluid was topped up and it was cured and works fine ( just being 100% with potential buyers )
Sum it up
The car drives smooth looks really clean n tidy , no rust or major dents and is excellent on diesel ,in the high 40"s mpg wise Mot advisories were a corroded brake pipe , and a rear engine mount has play and needs changing (£35 part) you can hear a clunk from this if snatchy with pull aways
This is a lot of car for the money Genuine reason for sale ,he has acquired a rather nice Mercedes from a family member
The car is sorn , The v5 is here in my dad"s name ready to transfer over .
