Rover 75 Tourer 2.0 Diesel BMW engine.I have owned this for 2 1/2 years and it has been great.Only selling now as my wife has a hip problem and the seats are to low.
When purchased I had new discs and pads fitted along with new brake pipes.The drop links have been replaced 18 months ago.A new battery 18 months ago.I have covered 20,000 miles during my ownership and it has let me down twice.Both times it was the fuel pumps.First the pump in the tank, which was replaced, next the pump on the bulkhead, also replaced.It has good tires and a full size spare wheel with all of the tools.
During ownership it has returned around 45 to the gallon, but over 50 on a run.It costs 195 a year to tax and has a huge boot space.
It has a tow bar, but no ball, I have never towed with it, I do not have the need.
I have not used it for around a month and it started first turn today, no problems.It is MOTed until the 31/03/19.
All of the windows work, the central locking unlocks on the fob but will not lock, they do on the button in the car, so I think the fob has a problem.It locks with the key no problem.The parking sensors work.I had the air-con re-charged last year and it worked great, but this summer it is not cold again.
There is a slow puncture on the nearside front and it loses around 10 psi a month, I just keep blowing it up.The drivers seat has a hole in the bolster from rubbing getting in and out, see photo.The body has some marks, but not bad for it"s age.One rear door is a slightly different shade, but it has never bothered me.
