Red Rover Metro for sale, logbook states its a 111 Kensington.
Reliable and well loved, but having to sell as not suitable for transporting a baby!
Two previous owners, and low mileage for age - approx 31,500 miles.
Has had quite a bit of work in recent years, to keep it running and passing MOT. Has had new brake pipes, disks drums and pads, new radiator, new alternator, complete new exhaust system, incuding calatytic convertor.
Despite its reliability, it does not come without issues, as expected for the cars age. There are various scratches and dents, (which I have tried to show in the pictures), and a rust spot on one of the wheel arches. A new battery is required - the one currently installed is on loan temporarily. The seam on the fuel tank, approx half way up the tank, appears to have a split - it does hold half a tank of fuel without a problem, but if filled above that level, it does leak out. The steering column is held together with gaffa tape as seen in the picture - this was following an attempted theft of the car some years ago - foiled by the immobiliser - which left the plastic casing broken. It does not affect the useability or performance of the car in any way. The radio in the car is not the original as that stopped wotking - the one currently installed does work, but could do with hardwiring in properly.
