Rover Mini Mayfair Saloon 1.3 Manual Petrol Saloon £19,990.00 (No VAT) Make Rover Model Other Year 1993 Transmission Manual Fuel Petrol Engine Size 1,300 ccm Mileage 39,127 Miles Emission class Euro 1 We bught this vehice from the original first lady owner, The Mini had been garaged for a while when we purchased it we drove it back from Bristol. The only issues were occasional syncromesh faults on thrid gear.
The Mini Was Supplied new by G Kingsburuy & Son of Station Road, Hampton, Middlesex TW12 2BU on 01/03/1993 this was the local dealer for it one and only owner. The Mini comes with a complete file of Service and MOT History, Handbook Packs, Original Second set of keys, THe Original Log Book and the Current V5.
We decided to remove front sub frame and engine / transmission complete, we stripped the engine from the sub frame had the transmission reconditioned and a new third gear and syncro fitted, the engine was all checked over and serviced at the same time.
The interior of the car was stripped out, including screens and seals, front wings and front panel together with the screen panel were all cut away and replaced with genuine panels (not spurious copies), the outer sills were cut away floor edge panels replaced and new extended sill panels welded in and a new bonnet and n/s door skin was fit.
The rear sub frame was removed cleaned and painted after minor repair plates were fit. The rear suspension and brakes were checked, then the complete underside was cleaned and body sealants re instated and 2 pack original colour painted.
Then the rear sub frame refit using new bolts and fixings etc, new front to rear brake pipes replaced. The inner wings and complete engine compartment were painted whilst engine and sub frame removed. The front sub frame and engine / transmission refit using new bolts and mountings etc, new rear section exhaust replaced.
The vehicle had any minor imperfections to bodywork repaired and was then repainted in its original 2 colour scheme Red with White roof. Screens refit with new seals and inserts, new door aperture seals and check straps fit. New headlining was fit with some interior finishers, but trying to keep the car as original as possible the original carpets were refit using new seat slide panels, the original seat stitching repaired as required and all interior re assembled. All electrics checked and new heavy duty battery fit together with a new radio aerial. The wood dash was stripped and re finished to original. New bumpers and grille fit together with new roof gutter moulds and all wheel arch extensions and pedal rubbers.
New 12 Minilite style polished alloy wheels and tyres fitted.
When completed and road tested all minor running adjustments were made the car was mot tested and had the tracking checked and reset.
