Appraisal of car -
Exterior very good for age.
Some stone chips on front bumper and a couple on the bonnet. The bonnet ones have been painted in when they have appeared.
Drivers side wing has a tiny ding from obviously a car door being opened into it.
The wheels need a refurb and Saab badges on them should be replaced at the same time I have shown the worst wheels in the pictures.
Interior
Is excellent condition, except for one little nick on passenger seat near seat belt and mark on near side on passenger door trim.
Why this amazing price for what is a very rare car, I have owned for 4 years since buying as Cat D, do not let this put you off, the car was not involved in any accident and therefore no structural damage to any panels body or chassis. It was stolen recovered just after Saab went bust, so values plummeted, given this with one window being smashed, the alloys being scratched/ kerbed and the car having no keys at that time was enough for it to be listed as an insurance write off.
The car was at Perth Saab October 2015 for a fault on the passenger seat and to replace the heated seat element on the driver seat. Whilst there the car had all the latest software updates applied and a full Saab health check with the only issue found being a small crack in exhaust which has now been welded up. Glow plugs were removed and cleaned and forced regen of Diesel particle filter carried out.
New battery installed in March 2016.
All original Saab owner manuals / service book, plus receipts for all service items , work carried out at Saab / independent garages and a copy of the Saab Workshop information CD will be provided.
