Smart AUTOMATIC 6 SPEED DIESEL FORFOUR BREAKING OR BOUGHT AS SPARES OR REPAIR
The car has some service history with a full MOT.
Recently had all for alloy wheels fully refurbished
Body work and interior is presentable for its age with a few minor scuffs / scrapes etc
Rare model with absolutely top spec that looks great and up until recently drove very well and does approx. 55 miles to the gallon around town!
Problems started when we had trouble engaging reverse gear. This is a very common Smart problem and the trick is to flick the lever from D or. 1 straight into reverse and it goes in every time. Now something more serious has happened in that second gear has packed up and will not engage. 
We really do not have the time or funds available to repair this vehicle and would just like to see it sold for a fair price. This would be a great buy for someone who has the time and elbow grease to bring it back to the car it still can be.
If there is anybody out there who needs parts for the diesel model such as the engine, exhaust system, body panels or wheels etc I may be willing to break the car for reasonable offers. It has a terrific spec. with full leather heated seats, rare centre armrest, stereo unit with built in satnav, panoramic glass sunroof, etc, etc.
