  Our car does not start. Electrics come on but engine does not turn. The local mechanic tells me it is the starter motor but cannot guarantee it could be more. I have no longer the inclination or the time to repair the car and went out and bought another car. It is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. No scratches, dents etc and wheels look excellent.
Before this everything worked well.
It is a Smart car Roadster 80 AUTO convertible. We have owned this car since Feb 2010 and I have the original proof of purchase invoice. There is no outstanding finance.
We have looked after the car at the Smart Modurdy Trefant Mercedes dealer throughout at considerable cost and I have the bills to show. Some time ago the car had difficulty starting so we had the following:
New Clutch actuator and ESP repair set – August 2013. Over £1000 spent at the time.
Since then the car has been perfect and always serviced. It always started first time and is economical. The car has central and remote locking etc. The last service in the service booklet is at 92,280 miles and the car has covered about 100,000 miles.
I have numerous MOTs from 2007. The last MOT ran out in January 2015.
I have all booklets including for the radio and its security code card.
