Up for sale is my 5 seat Ssangyong REXTON 270 Turbo Diesel.
First registered 10/08/2004, 2696cc turbo diesel, 229 G/KM
Its been a really good car for the time we have owned it. We took ownership on 7th June 2013.
Mercedes based 5 cyclinder engine.
Starts on the button first time every time, drives very well.
We had all of the transmission oils changed, Front and rear Axle, gearbox, transfer case.
The engine has been serviced regularly.
We have also replaced all the brake discs and linings, 4 Yokohama Geolander tyres were fitted last year all with at least 4mm tread left.
Engine has had new glow plugs, fuel filters, water pump and idler pulley along with the alternator drive belt have also been replaced.
The front lower suspension arms were also replaced last year, as were the rear shock absorbers.
This car has a substantial tow hitch fitted, but we have not used the car for towing.
Four wheel drive all works as it should, including High and low ratio, It is well known that this vehicle can tow 3500kg.
There are various bits of paint scuffs and marks here and there, its not a new car, it is about 12 years old, with a very low and genuine 85000 miles on the clock.
All in all this is a good 4x4 with loads of life left in it, it looks worth far more than it actually is.
Nice factory fitted privacy glass all round.
Central locking, folding mirrors, boot tidy, leather interior, 6 cd multichanger stereo system, aftermarket rear parking sensors., factory alloy compomotive wheels with locking wheel nuts.
Excellent all terrain vehicle.
V5 in our name, Mot to feb 2017, tax is £290 per anum, car is currently on a private number plate, this will be removed before sale and it is expected to revert back to the old registration number which was MV04GZH
Bad bits: Small vibration noise only at 2000 rpm, supected exhaust touching body, every now and then the car gives six beeps from the dash, this indicates there is water in the diesel. We have been informed that the water sensor has an intermittent fault, no warning lights are on and this does not effect the driving. Also when you fill up sometimes it takes the fuel gauge a day to catch up, sometimes not! None of this effects the driving but there you are.
No timewasters or tyre kickers please, you are bidding to buy. This is a good honest Jeep with low miles.
