This has been our collection and delivery vehicle for the last 12 months, clocking up 40,000 trouble free miles, until sunday!!
The AA Say its a blown Turbo!! the good news is usually when the turbo goes, it over revs the engine to destruction!! but the engine still starts up fine and sounds fine!!
just fills the road full of smoke!! totally impossible to drive.
prior to this, the vehicle drove like a Bentley with a smooth gearbox and powerful engine.
travelling to spain, Germany, france, Holland!! never missed a beat.
offered for spares or repair!! there is a 2nd hand turbo on ebay for £295! I have also found a company who sell reconditioned turbos for just £395.
I have spoken to a garage and its a straight forward job ! easy to get to!! google states its just an hours job
I have now bought another vehicle, so the Ssangyong is surplus to requirements
apart from the air-con requires re-gassing everything else works fine.
all book packs, locking wheel nuts ect. just the one key!!
mot ran out Monday!! went straight through the last mot, no problems
marks, and rust spots, here and there!! shes done 171,000 miles!! so not a new vehicle by any means.

WILL NOT DRIVE !! STARTS UP FINE!! SMOKES TERRIBLE.
SPARES OR REPAIR, but I do feel for the sake a few hundred pounds she is well worth repairing.
sensibly priced at just £695 for a quick sale!! you wont find another at this price in short for £1200 she could be back on the road!!
