This is fast becoming a sought after model and those who understand Saab or are curious about them, will probably know that there is little available offering the performance and practicality at this price.
This car has had caring owners and the maintenance history is excellent.It’s a 2006 car with individual climate control, cruise control, 6 speed manual, Nokia hands free Bluetooth, ice cold air conditioning and importantly no warning lights or hidden problems.
Recent work includes new spark plugs and coil packs as well as a set of four Avon ZV7 tyres which have done less than 1000 miles. They transformed the handling.
The power delivery is super smooth and obviously it’s rapid. the fuel consumption averages around 28-30mpg - it’s had a gentle life - and there shouldn’t be any immediate expenditure. I know that these can handle big power, but this feels plenty fast enough, it’s been cared for and it’s not been thrashed. It had a bulb replaced at its last MOT.
It’s got a few stone chips on the bonnet and the material on one small Seshan of the drivers seat is showing its age but will prepare easily, and all the recent trip a small crack has appeared in the windscreen high up on the passenger side but easily taken care of with an insurance claim.
The comedy ‘prancing moose‘ stickers on the front wings Usually get a thumbs up from those who know what it is.
The car is only for sale and it was bought as a stopgap but it’s good value, huge fun and has never let me down. I could be interested in a p/x but would need a car and money my way.
