Stunning Saab 9-3 just passed it"s MOT (on 15th March) and also freshly serviced at same time. It has 4 great condition tyres with plenty of tread left, the brakes are healthy, the car drives faultlessly no knocks or rattles. Steering is straight and true no pulling or vibrations and has a strong light handbrake and a nice light clutch pedal, just lovely! The Saab 9-3 shares a great deal of parts with other cars such as the Vauxhall Vectra, the basic engine is also found in GM and Alfa Romeo applications so parts, servicing and support for these vehicles is no different to any other make. Shared platform aside, the Saab maintains a unique character and delivers a high quality driving experience superior to the GM vehicles of which the 9-3"s dna comes from. For example, Vauxhall applications of this engine deliver slight turbo lag, Saab engineers have done a much better job at minimising this so the 1.9tid feels and drives like a much much bigger engine yet delivers 51mpg in mixed driving (my current average) I think the shape of the bodywork helps, it certainly looks very aerodynamic (hence the name Airflow I imagine) The ride is comfy yet agile so the car is very happy cruising on the motorway or driving around town. It has parking sensors and electric power steering (not driven off engine) so steering is light when manoeuvring and more planted once on the move. . To prepare the car for sale the following has been done and accompanying invoices present. Full Service including brake fluid and fresh gearbox oil. New Cam BeltNew Water PumpNew Battery2 x new front coil springs1 x wheel bearingMOT test The MOT tester commented on the quality of the emissions test results saying ""Its virtually zero"" The EGR and swirl flap system is all in place and working perfectly and the inlet manifold has been cleaned, the dual mass flywheel is fine as is the clutch (has been inspected/checked) There really is nothing wrong with the car so you can just get in and drive. The bodywork is very good, there are 2 very very minor, small dents (smaller than a 5p coin) almost not worth mentioning but definitely overall as you see from the pictures, it looks stunning. The interior is great with nice white/cream half leather but the driver seat has become a bit scruffy from what looks like a manufacturing issue - on the outer bolster to middle of seat, stitching has come away a bit. The seat is still very comfy and the rest of the interior looks and feels great. The car comes with all books, wallet etc. 1 key, fully stamped service book. It has 109k , 2 owners.
