My Saab 9-5 Hot Aero for sale. My wife only drives auto and needs to use the car so sadly this being manual has to go...
So, it is not like new/immaculate - it is a 15/16 years old a family car and used for my business. It has the odd shopping trolley thumb dent, a few scuffs on the bumpers, some bonnet chips and a very small dent to the front nearside wheel arch (barely noticeable and the paint not broken)
So if you want "like new", this is not the car for you and the starting price reflects this.
The interior is spot with the no scuffs, tears or damage to the trim. All switchs work, but if you want to be very pedantic the only thing to do is replace the "on" light for the heated seats (if you can be bothererd!) Pixels on the displays are all OK.
We don"t smoke and whilst we have a dog he has only been in the car about 5/6 times. So no doggy odours!...

The last owner was festidious and had the bonnet re-sprayed, rear roof resprayed and I had the rear OS door painted to remove a thumb dent that was showing signs of starting to rust. He also had any work done regardless.

When purchased (2010) the car had the breather mod fitted and sump dropped/cleaned. At the same time a new clutch and master slave cylinder were fitted and the flywheel balanced. (c 90,000mls) The gearbox was given an overhaul (reverese selector)
I also had the dark walnut dash fitted (not standard on the Aero)

The windscreen was replaced a couple of years ago. This is a family car, so anything that needed doing has been done. The car has been inspected by two Saab specialists over the last 6 months, none of whom could find any faults.
Minor niggles:-
To be picky the stereo ocasionally seems to turn itself down..?Heated seat light as aboveRear wash is"nt working (pump runs, so a possible blockage?) This car is rust free and in great shape. Don"t be put off by the mileage it has bags of life left, It drives beautifully (no pulling), is blisteringly quick and pulls like a train.
My garage reckons that if well maintained these are good for 250 -300,000k.
A file with all bills/invoices is available for inspection.
