Welcome to auction for my Saab 900 Classic Convertible. Bought this car a few months ago with a view to sorting all the niggles for next summer but unfortunately just won’t have time to do it so will opt for a company car instead think about what might have been.
This car is overall OK condition for its age, but please be aware this an 88 car so should be considered accordingly, patina is there as well as all the usual issues which I have listed below. 
Gears all select well, no jumps out of any gear.
The car runs well when warm, initially hunts a little at cold but otherwise pulls well, has MOT and driven back 2/3 hours no probs after I bought. 
It would serve as a great base for a Classic 900 convertible which are now appreciating rapidly in the right hands.
With that in mind, I’ll try to list the bad points as I see them:
- Paint overall is okay, dulled and would benefit from a respray and has been touched in places - Bumpers need respraying - Hood works, fabric is okay, although rear window has been glued to reseal (may need new section) - Both front wings have what I believe to be surface bubbles - Both doors have smaller rust in bottom, in my opinion best to opt for repair or new - Interior is worn but okay, small rip in driver seat.  - Interior niggles include (fuel gauge not working, some dash lights work some don’t) - Boot lock is worn, will need replacing - Lots of history and paperwork with car
You bid to buy so only bid if you want and understand this car and appreciate my honesty above and see potential. In the right hands this car is worth 5k+ with minimal spend but I will not accept under reserve.
