Seat Ibiza CUPRA 20VT I purchased this car from a reputable salvage site in 2013 as a Cat C damage car as I was after a turbo engine and gearbox for a MK1 Golf conversion that was being built. The car had minor panel damage (see photo) and I decided the car was to good to break and so it was repaired with used panels given a new timing belt and tensioner, new battery (Recipts for both) all the fluids changed and new competition springs with a front set EBC Yellowstuff brake pads fitted. All the interior stripped and proper box section welded in to take race Seats and harness. There is an AMD sticker on the rear but I cannot say if they have tuned it, but it is rapid!  The car was then Mot’d in August last year and has been used for one track day at Castle Combe. I have the Mk 1 golf to finish so sadly the Seat has to go, it is a very good low mileage car that drives brilliantly, The car will have to have a department of transport inspection if you want the log book back, but as the car now has a MOT it should just be a formality The race harnesses and one of the race Seats are not included in the sale as I had to borrow them from a friend but I have the original front belts and will leave one race Seat with the car. This really is a great car that with minimal outlay could become a great road legal track/car. It will have to be tailored at the moment.
