Skoda Fabia 1.6 Automatic Estate running on Petrol/LPG CAT D registeredI purchased in May 2010, with only 6,000 miles on the clock.Sparshats Skoda in Botley Southampton replaced the engine under warranty as there was a rattle from the engine. I have had 100,000 miles of trouble free motoring.
The LPG system is brilliant, fully automatic with a tank of LPG costing £22-25, giving between 270-300 miles. The LPG is a Stag system, fully certified and fitted by Profess in Wales.
It had new front tyres 1 month ago and a new set of discs and pads all round about 6 months ago.The car drives faultlessly and is very reliable and cheap to run on both LPG and Petrol.I am selling my car with a top of the range fitted Parrott phone kit, for phone calls and playing music.Rear parking sensors, Air con (re-gassed 2015), cruise control.
The interior of the car is in very good condition, I have used fitted covers on the front seats for protection. The car has had light use inside by myself only..
The dent and scuffing to the left side of the car on the base of the door and lower panel was caused by bumping the kerb of the fuel pump island at the garage. The car is perfectly fine to drive and hasn"t affected the internal part of the car, it doesn"t let in water. I have been told it would cost around £500 to fix, but this isn"t an essential repair.
For a car of 7 years old as expected there are some stone chips on the bonnet and some scratches on the outer paintwork. The paint is coming away in places on the bumpers and some of the bodywork as per my pictures.
I have had a mechanic check the car over and the following work has just been done. A new set of front arms and bushes fittedoil and filter changeand a 12 Month MOT.A new Gearboxs engine mount fitted
I have owned this car for 5 years and have had trouble free motoring. It comes with full Skoda service history up to 80,000, from then I had a small garage change the oil at every 10,000 miles. I never planned to keep a car this long but this car has been so economical and a perfect size.
