This classified advert is for a 2003 Skoda Octavia Estate 1.9 TDi 110 BHP Elegance in metallic Olive green. It’s an amazing colour, especially in good sunlight.
 
The car has 267,370 genuine miles with full service history.
We have bought another Skoda Octavia, newer version to replace this one as have been very impressed with it. We originally bought it as our very 1st Skoda and have liked it so much we thought we bought another one.  So now it’s no longer needed hence it’s up for sale.
The car is in really good condition for its age and miles.
The car has been very well maintained with full service history, with 22 standard services including the 3 timing belt changes.
The last standard service was carried out at 265,039 miles in Oct 2014. So another year before any oil change needed.
The important timing belt and water pump change was carried out at 246,728 in Oct 2013. So good till 2017 or another 60,000 miles.
The front discs and pads plus rear discs and pads have years of life left before they next need changing which you will see when you have a look at them.   
All of the tyres are really good with 2 virtually new tyres on the rear, fronts are half way worn and a spare which is also full size not a space saver. With all this said it makes a great hard wearing workhorse with high spec that you can rely on, hence Octavia’s are so popular, anyone who knows Skoda or has been in a Skoda taxi will know how well they do. You just need to maintain them and they will go on and on.
The Octavia has the amazing 1.9 TDi engine.  It’s combined with a 5 speed gear box meaning that you get very good fuel efficiency on long runs; I’ve easily achieved over 61mpg on motorway runs to my parents in Surrey but normally returning 55mpg most of the time.   Obviously being the 110 BHP it also has power if you want to use it. 
Being the Elegance model the car has a great specification.  This means it benefits from having cloth interior, fold down rear seats that are great for those trips to Ikea, really handy cruise control, 5 spoke standard alloy wheels which really add to the look of the car and also has 4 original floor mats. I also have a set of rubber mats which I will through in with the sale.
The car has Power steering, ABS braking system, air conditioning (fully working and icy cold), front/passenger airbags, traction control, trip computer, child locks and isofix system, alarm + immobiliser, electric windows, electric/heated mirrors, electric tilt / slide sunroof and a centre armrest. The car has a great Symphony stereo system with 8 speakers and a 6 disk CD changer. 
A Connects2 Bluetooth system has been fitted that integrates with the Symphony Stereo System this allows you to play music from your phone and make and receive phones calls whilst on the move.
This system also has a hardwired connector cable for the iphone 4 and 4S for charging and music too.
There is also a Brodit universal mobile phone holder that can be adjusted to clamp the size of your phone.
I’ve added a lot of detailed photos so that you can see the condition of the car.  It does have small scuffs, scratches, stone chips and a few small dents which you would expect for this age and mileage as I would be lying if I said it was immaculate, but are hard to see in the photos. It also has a small patch of cosmetic rust in the rear tailgate where the body meets the window but this has been treated.
The car currently has an MOT until 26th October 2015 and with the good service history I expect it will pass the next with flying colours.  It has tax until the end of April 2014 but new rules now apply per DVLA. 
The original owner’s handbooks and service records are included in the sale along with previous MOT’S, 2 original key and the 2 stone chip touch in pen sticks.
