First up - Thank you for looking at my advert! I"ve passed this little car on the road almost every working day for the past two or three years and always admired it as a Smart car enthusiast and always got a flash and a wave from the owner - something that many Smart car owners do. I couldn"t believe my luck when it popped up for sale and discovered that the owner just wasn"t prepared to spend what it needed to get it through the MOT - it became mine! The car is the 600cc version with full and semi automatic transmission. It is the Passion Model which is a decent specification unlike the Pure model which is basic and underpowered. The engine has been rebuilt by FudgeSmart but the previous owner can find no paperwork to back this up - however it is the quickest 600cc Smart I"ve driven and is sound a pound in all respects. Oil, oil filter and air filters have all just been changed. Two new front springs fitted. Better front shocks from a 2006 car fitted. New front cupro-nickel brake pipes. Wishbone bushes replaced both sides at the front. Bosch headlight bulbs and sidelight and side repeater bulbs fitted while the front was off so that difficult job"s done! Rear metal brake pipes replaced with cupro-nickel and rear wheel cylinders replaced. Brand new rear shock absorbers fitted. It has two good working keys with fresh batteries, the original radio code card and some previous receipts. The car has other nice upgrades which I personally think all Smart cars should have and include - Genuine Smart cut pile mats - these are a dream to clean and come up like new time and time again. The rear luggage cover is great for keeping your valuables out of sight and stopping stuff falling down behind the seats.. The sound system may look old fashioned with it"s little cassette player but when coupled to the factory option sound upgrade kit it is pretty awsome - I can swap it to a genuine CD player if you"ve moved on to those - no problem! I have no hesitation recommending this car to anybody - I know them inside out and this is a little cracker with perfect panels all round, good tyres all round, drives spot on. If you you"ve been out looking at others then I guarantee if you drive this one YOU WILL buy it!
