Hi and welcome to my advert for the sale of our Smart Passion Softouch, registration BU02VLT.   Colour is silver on silver.   First registered on 01/06/2002 we acquired the vehicle on 07/11/2009 with a total of 3 former keepers.   The car has provided us with economical, trouble-free motoring during our ownership and is up for sale following the acquisition of a Smart Nightorange, 2011 model.   There are no known faults, outstanding finance or loans and is a genuine vehicle. Please see my Ebay rating of 100%.   Being the Passion model it comes with full glass roof with pull sunblind, alloy wheels, black HEATED leather seats (fully working), air conditioning (which needs re-gassing), electric windows etc. It has the softouch gearbox which can be operated as a full or semi-auto.   MOT valid until June 2015 and road tax on vehicle until 31/05/15 so once payment received the car can be driven away.   Originally supplied on the 11/06/02 by Smart Birmingham, the car has been well maintained throughout its life as follows:   18/11/03 Smart of Coventry 9809 miles 19/05/05 Cambridge Road Garage 19700 miles 24/05/06 Cambridge Road Garage 27063 miles 14/05/08 Saab Select 36720 miles 11/09/10 Camtyres 45,266 miles 20/09/11 Eye Care Centre 47125 miles 12/10/12 Kingsway Tyres 49778 miles 04/11/13 Kingsway Tyres 51729 miles   The service book contains all relevant stamps and since our ownership (from the Camtyres service above) all physical paperwork and receipts.   With regards to MOT’s, we have certificates going back to 2008 with mileages recorded as follows:   16/05/08 36762 miles 12/06/09 37317 miles 11/06/10 44677 miles 31/05/11 46573 miles 28/05/12 45686 miles (recorded incorrectly by Muppet tester but with invoice from garage confirming correct mileage of 48686 miles) 28/05/13 50719 miles 04/06/14 52928 miles   The car has not failed an MOT in our ownership although there were advisories in 2013 resulting in the replacement of two front wishbones on 27/01/14 and wheel alignment costing £180 (bushes were worn and car was noisy over bumps) and the cleaning and greasing of brake pipes due to surface corrosion (by Kingsway Tyres with invoices present).   An oil leak to the sump was observed and this was fixed on 28/04/14 by Kingsway Tyres.   One remaining advisory was that the rear shock absorber bushes are slightly deteriorated but upon enquiries to have these replaced we were advised by Kingsway not to do it as the wear is minimal!!!   In terms of running repairs we have conducted the following:   The heated drivers seat stopped working due to an electrical issue and this was sorted by Grimwoods Auto Electrical Repairs on 30/11/12 at a cost of £72 (invoice present).   Belts were noisy / squeaking on the car and the power steering belt and drive belts were replaced on 08/11/13 at a cost of £53 (receipts present).   New Bosch wiper blades front and back were fitted on 05/01/14 by Halfords at a cost of c£29 (receipt present)   Current mileage reads 53639 but this will increase slightly as the vehicle will be run periodically prior to sale. As you can see we have spared no expense in maintaining this little car and the new owner will benefit from this accordingly.   Please no scammers, dreamers, agencies etc. Also, no test drives without full payment up front as deposit and relevant insurance cover.
