Here for sale is my 2004 Smart RoadsterMy reason for sale is a little long winded so please bear with me I haven"t owned it for long a recent change of jobs meant i had a longer commute to work so i was after something very cheap to run which the little Roadster certainly is, cheap tax excellent mpg and cheap insurance and very fun to drive so i bought one and was instantly impressed with it i travelled about a bit to find a good one and looked at several as it would be my transport to work i needed it to be reliable.Now a friend of mine owned a mint little Suzuki SJ Jeep and some years ago i asked him if he ever wanted to sell her i would have it, I have been looking for years for one but could not find a really tidy original one, A couple of weeks ago he phoned me and said he was selling it and did i still want it and i could not refuse.So i have ended up with two cars now plus the wifes daily driver and just cannot justify keeping it just for fun as much as i would like to the wife wont allow it as i have an awful lot of motorcycles aswell which brings me to its reluctant saleplease bear in mind i paid top money for it as its a very good one and wont be giving it away i am already at a loss with the advertised price so please do not insult me with silly offers.On to its description.
I will start with the negatives
The drivers side headlight outer glass has broken this is purely cosmetic as the headlight still has an inner glass fully functions and passes its motand that is all i am aware of

Excellent condition for its age Fully working air con (rare for a Smart Roadster)Nice Alloy wheels with new rear tyres and excellent frontsHeated Leather seatsElectric roof fully working WITH NO LEAKS !!! I have even jet washed the car and upon getting in there was not a drop inside Paint is good on the removable roof bars (again a common Roadster problem)Alpine USB and Ipod StereoIt does have the flappy paddle gearbox which works as it should and is nice and smooth as it should beBody work great no dings or dentsFull Service history all carried out by either Smart dealers or Mercedes
I Genuinely think you would be hard pushed to find a better one They are a very fun car and handle like there on rails they also feel a lot faster than you would think being fairly close to the ground there are no mechanical issues everything works as it should and it has 11 months MOTThe mileage wont go up as i am not using it now viewing is recommended and welcomePlease no time wasters it will stay for sale until a deposit is left of you turn up with cash or bank transferI wish i could keep it but it would mean i would have to sell a bike and thats not happening !!It is Priced to sell its already cheap for its condition and mileageSo no silly offers
