For sale is a Smart for two this is being sold as spares and repairs as it failed it’s last m.o.t Shame to see this Car go as it has been a great servant to me has done everything asked of it and more.
Car has been looked after, full service about a year ago now doesn’t leak oil or guilds drives fine no problem that I am awear of. The reason it failed it’s m.o.t is when idling and stationary the Car starts to misfire on cyclinder 2 which when put on the ramp at the mot center causes it to fail on emissions. I never really had a problem with this as I had it on eco mode where the engine would cut out when at lights or traffic, so it never had the chance to misfire when driving the Car normally. Even if it did start to miss fire where I had been sitting to long without the eco mode on all you would have to do is turn the ignition off and on again to correct the misfire. When driving it’s still just as powerful and doesn’t misfire at all which is why it’s a shame to see it go because it drives really well.
The front windscreen also has a crack in it as you can see form the pictures, with these problems can’t get through the mot and as I have another Car which I can use for work there is no need for me to get this fixed. Would be perfect for someone to do themselves or even break it for parts.Will try and locate all the recipets I have but not sure where they are I do no in the last year it’s had a full service and front shock and springs changed.
Please study the picture for the condition as I have stated it’s being sold as spares and repairs there for its sold as seen and does NOT have a mot at this current moment so please be aware of this when you buy it!!
The rest of the Car is in ok condition, scratches here and there, soft top has tree sap on it from parking area. Wheels and tyres got loads left in them, main faults are the miss-firer and the windscreen.
