Smart Passion Brabus cabrio convertible car runs well roof works fine electric windows good, everything works as it should to my knowledge .The car Belonged to my grandmother , once she had to stop driving the car was garaged where it was forgotten about , I have been tasked with putting this little one back on the road and giving a new owner some fun in the sun .when put away the car was running perfectly however while in storage the battery died , the starter motor seized up along with the alternator , i am told this is a common problem with the Smart due to the parts location. So I have changed out the starter ,the alternator and fitted a new battery, the car now runs as it should and as such comes with MOT I believe around 10 months left however I have misplaced this but will get a copy for the new owner .The car is a top spec passion Brabus model, with a very modern interior it has a great level of comfort . the car comes with an aftermarket stereo ,although perfectly functional I personally would change it out for an MP3 Bluetooth model (just a personal thing) these are cheep as chips so no real thing there. this has a crack/repair in the LHS rear wing the repair works well but to be perfect I would change it , the sale includes a new wing which requires painting black to match, I guess this could be a DIY job if you are up for it, due to this crack the rear bumper is not as tight as I would like , it does not affect driving its more a cosmetic annoyance to be honest. The car has aftermarket wheels which are painted with a metallic red rim these jump off the car a nice touch to this summer run about, as advised the car has been sat for a while on these same tires so although the tread is good all around for safety I would look at changing these out due to age , they are tiny so wont break the bank for this very important safety aspect the choice would of course be yours.
The down side to this Smart as with most convertibles of age, is the rear window , this is a plastic screen which with use has developed a crack/hole , it has been sealed up but its ugly so this job one well worth doing , I have seen companies on ebey that will fix this for £60 but I feel a local trim shop would be better I don"t have one local so its not been done..
the car being left hand drive is ideal as a export car if you are lucky enough to live on the continent it is all set up for the uk so you have the option as a tow car behind your camper. . She is also very easy to drive on the uk roads my SL500 merc is also LHD and I love driving it about.
The car is Taxed for the year ready to take away with your own insurance , I can arrange a delivery at a cost but this will need discussing prior to end of auction .

being a LHD convertible top spec Passion pricing has been difficult cant find any on Ebay .so I am starting low (I think) I am however open to a sensible offer for this , please no stupid £100 and the old trainers depending on what the wife looks like a deal could be had LOL
