Hi and welcome to my auction of my elderly 4x4, yep its looks different! Try to put that aside these trucks are built for action they are based on the with Mercedes engine and transmission built under licence in S Korea and used by their army and police.
I"ve had this truck since 2009 when it had 25k on the clock I had a top quality Lima LPG conversion fitted at a cost of nearly £2,000 (certificate available for inspection) so will run on petrol and LPG with a range of 200mls on LPG.
So this is no lightweight SUV this truck has a proper High/Low gearbox and will engage High on the move, braking is phenomenol ABS and Discs all round ( not bad for an old 4x4).
The ride is great drivers side has lumber support with a great view of the road ahead you are very high off the ground, cornering ability is exceptional and soaks up the potholes with hardly a glance.
She has a FSH up to when I bought her and since has been serviced regularly by myself with top quality synthetic oil and good quality filters etc everything is documented in the service book with receipts available for inspection.
The bodywork looks exceptional she has been well looked after, top quality shampoo and wax is what has kept her in this condition, underneath is much the same the chassis is bulletproof and will put most 4x4s to shame plenty of the original paint is still on it (it makes a difference to use the powerwash after every excursion offroad).
She has recently had a:
New Clutch (107k)
Rear Cooper Discoverer tyres
Gearchange cables
Four Bilstein Shock Absorbers
Heavy duty chassis bump stops
A few little bad points:
Two little dings on rear offside wing about 2mm diameter.
Rear door has dropped slightly needs a new pin or hinge I believe, still closes and locks ok.
Sender petrol unit not working (fuel guage doesn"t work) just put a couple of gallons in when the orange light comes on.
Right I know it all sounds too good to be true at this price and I am open to offers I just have too many cars and this one has not been used for quite a while now and is on a SORN and not insured, however I can take you up the hill behind our house and down the drive.
Right the bad stuff, she starts on petrol doesn"t tick over very well and lacks power but once she is warmed up (2-4 mins) she will click over on LPG sometimes you have to do it manually but hey presto she is a different truck drives like a dream when on GAS.
LPG IS ON AVERAGE 60p per litre SO IS ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF PETROL YOU WILL GET APPROX 24mpg SO GIVING YOU THE EQUIVALENT OF 48mpg NOT BAD FOR A HEAVY 4X4!!!
Recommend you look before you buy as description I have described is very accurate and photos were taken last week.
