2006 Ssangyong Rexton II RX270 XDi AWD

Selling on behalf of family member. Here is a stunning example of the seven seater, Mercedes based Ssangyong Rexton II. I purposely took the photo"s below in bright sunshine to highlight the gorgeous black cherry paintwork as it changes so much in different light. Let me emphasise that the photo"s do not do this truck justice, it looks much better in real life! This luxury truck is fully loaded, it has everything you could need and then some! See below for more details. It starts, stops and drives just as it should, it really is just like driving along the road in your sofa! No warning lights. There is service history and a load of receipts for over £4000 spent so it has wanted for nothing. It"s had new brakes inc calipers all round, injectors, filters and fluids inc auto box and transfer case, new suspension & steering bushes, a replacement diesel tank, a fuel pump valve and new vacuum solenoids for the EGR and turbo to name but a few. The tyres are nearly new Hankooks all round. Underneath these trucks can be prone to rust at the rear but this one is totally solid and has been waxoyled to protect it.
Inside the truck, all the gadgets & functions seem to work as they should and it is virtually spotless with only the most minimal signs of use to the luxurious black leather interior. Outside the truck is exceptionally good for a 4x4, of course there are a few (hardly noticeable) marks but nothing that"s worth worrying about at all as you can see from the photograph"s below. After the photo"s were taken it has now had a full inside & out valet including buff & polish, diamond glaze ceramic wax coating to the bodywork, not just a "side of the road" car wash. Overall it is in extremely good condition, I seriously doubt you will find another one this clean & sorted.

Q. How many miles to the gallon?
A. I honestly don"t know, it"s not my vehicle and if you"re really worried about economy then perhaps a two tonne vehicle shaped like a brick is not for you ;) Having said that there are probably approximate figures on the net so you can look it up.
Q. Will you take £xxx for the truck?
A. Sorry no, for me to accept an offer it would have to be after you"ve viewed the truck in person and put the cash in my hand, promises don"t pay the bills!
Q. £500
A. ??? What? Is that what you charge for a BJ? Is that the DaVinci code? Is that how much your mail order bride cost? WTF???
Q. What"s the reserve?
A. Please try to remember how an auction works, if you want the vehicle then bid on it to what you"re prepared to pay, if you don"t want the vehicle then don"t bid but don"t expect me to tell you the reserve just so you can bid £1 over it. It"s simple... I want to get as much as I can for the truck that"s why it"s an auction not a sale.
Q. Do you have any more photo"s?
A. There are 70+ photo"s of the vehicle in my auction so either learn how to use ebay properly or get off your elbow and go to speccysavers.
Q. How much to insure?
A. I don"t know, everybody"s premium will be different but you have the reg number in the photo"s so do your research first.
Q. How much is road tax?
A. I don"t know I"ve never taxed it, again you have the reg number and model etc. the DVLA site will tell you.
Q. How much is the......
A. Hang on there a minute Mr. Scroogie McNotesticles... may I suggest that as you are so worried about the cost of things that you buy yourself a solar powered wind assisted hydro electric bicycle that runs for two weeks on a fart :)
Q. Is the vehicle taxed?
A. No, for a few years now it has not been possible to sell a taxed vehicle in the UK so you will need to pay the Road Fund Licence before driving.
Q. What"s your best price?
A. My best price is £1,000,000,000 what"s yours? ...what you actually mean is How cheap can I have the truck for? so say that!!!
Q. I"m over the other side of the country, will you deliver or meet half way and I"ll give you cash when you get here?
A. Errr, let me think about it for a minute... NO, NO and HELL NO!
Q. Why are you such a miserable git?
A. I"m really not, I"m a happy chappie but the equation of (internet + cars + money) tends to bring out the stupid in people... and you can"t fix stupid!
Remember, this is real life people, not Mike Brewer"s fantasy wheeler dealer world where everybody smiles and sells cars for half what they"re worth and time is a free variable!
Go on smile... you know you want to :) All in all this is a well looked after 4WD truck with low miles for it"s age and I"m sure the first to see will buy. Now on to the eye candy.....
