Relisted as unbeknown to us this car is listed as a Catagory D on the insurance register , this happened 2 months before we purchased it in 2016 and we have no idea whyThat said we have had this car nearly 2 years and have had no problem whatsoever with it , mechanically the car is spot on as in the bodywork , any inspection by the AA or RAC is more than welcome . I now have a hpi certificate showing this .
Ssangyong Rodius 7 seater , 2012 model with only 51,000 miles on the clock
This car is in very good condition for its age and mileage , it starts first time and drives spot on with no knocks , bangs or unwanted noises It has 7 seats , 2 in the front , 2 captain chairs in the middle and a 3 seater bench at the back and then a huge boot behind that . The 2 middle seats can be turned around to face the rear bench and have lap belts as well as 3 point seat belts fitted to them . We have owned this car for nearly 2 years and settled on it as it is probably one of the most spacious 7 seaters on the market , and with 5 children and a spanial this car is more than capable of transporting us all including luggage in comfort. It has the Mercedes 2.7 Diesel engine fitted to it which has covered just over 51,000 miles , it has a service history , 4 stamps at 12,544, 37,208, 43,482 and 49,717 , please note we have now lost the service book , these were the milages stamped in it , the last 2 carried out by ourselves the other 2 by previous owners .It has a 5 speed manual gearbox and we had the clutch and slave cylinder replaced in July 2017 due to the slave cylinder failing and contaminating the clutch
Inside the car it has a host of extras , electric windows , central locking , power steering , air conditioning and separate rear heating with aircraft style vents in the roof
It is fitted with a kenwood stereo system which has Garmin touchscreen sat nav , cd radio and Bluetooth connectivity for your phone There is a tow bar fitted , but as we"ve never used it I don"t know if the electrics work or not This really is an ideal car for a large or growing family and we are only selling as we Don"t need a 7 seater now
The bodywork of the car is in good condition having only a few minor blemishes / marks but nothing major The interior is in great condition, the seats have no rips /tears or major stains that you usually get with people carriers , the only negative is that the plastic on the rear of a couple of the seats has some scuffs and scratches, which are only cosmetic and were there when we purchased the carThe car has tinted windows at the rear including the tailgate
I have the logbook in our name , the current mot - until May this year , handbooks along with a few receipts and one key with a remote fob
Please note the private plate shown on the car is not included in the sale and will be removed prior to the car being sold , it will go back on to its original "12" plate which I still have and will fit on for the new owner .....I have now changed the plate and have the v5 back from Dvla , the reg is now GX12BUV as seen in last picture .
I have also just fitted a brand new battery to the car as the old one wasn"t charging fully
