Thank you for viewing my advert for my Stunning 2007 (56 plate) Porsche Boxster 987 3.4S, in Midnight blue with blue hood and optional ocean blue leather. The car has full Porsche service history, an MOT till Jan 2016 and a low 61,000 miles on the clock.
It is the desirable 6 speed manual model, comes with CD player, auto climate, rear parking sensors, wind deflectors and (my favourite feature) Porche 997 Turbo S wheels which I have a receipt for £2000.
I spent a long time searching for the right Porsche Boxster, and was lucky enough to have a friend within Porsche to run checks with all the ones I saw advertised that looked ideal. I was surprised to see so many ruled out by him...literally dozens (Facebook messages to prove lol), either due to not seeing a Porsche dealership in years or because the engine had been "over revved" to stage 3 upwards. So when this came in with full Porsche dealership (not "specialist") history and checked all ok by my friend, I had to jump on it. If you chose not to run with this, I highly recommend you do your checks on other Porsches... they are very reliable if looked after well, but costly if not of course. The previous owner seemed very particular in looking after his pride and joy, with work carried out at Porsche (water hose receipt for £688.04 in January and £2,499.90 service charge in Aug 15), all MOT"s have been kept and Michelin Pilot Sport 2"s kept on the car all round. No expense spared.
Since owning it myself I have detailed it using snow foam, 2 bucket wash method, clay barred, machine polished, glazed and waxed. Always keep an eye on oil (system does a check on start up) and use VPower fuel. It is garaged and used as a second car... recently taking me on a European road trip through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany without missing a beat. The car drives beautifully and just like a new car, gearbox selections are assertive with no sign of wear and the colour is gorgeous with the fleck picked up nicely in the sun. The 3.4S engine is definitely recommended over the 3.2 (having tried many), as it has more positive response at bottom end with nice linear power through to and over 7,000 revs, the sound is amazing after 4k although not too intrusive, handling is go kart like and inspiring and despite being used to the feel of German cars (currently owning a Mini Cooper SD and Audi A3 Sportback) it feels much more pleasant to be in, like wearing an expensive suit or watch.
Last service @ Porsche Sheffield on 26/8/14 - 57,041. So you have a while yet until next service will be due. All MOT"s supplied, 3 keys, many receipts, all Porsche booklets. Tyres all good, rears at 6mm fronts at about 4mm
The buy it now price is £16,500 which is very fair for a 3.4S with this history, but will allow an auction to run - please no silly offers. It is also advertised elsewhere, therefore I reserve the right to stop the auction at any point. This is a well looked after unabused example turning heads in arguably the most sort after colour with the gorgeous 911 Turbo wheels. I may PX with a car of lesser value but would need to be fun... currently looking to get a Westfield with motorbike engine, as for the little use I have of a second car I would rather have something alittle different over the summer months and have the rest of the money in the bank.
