Absolutely Stunning 1978 Ferrari 308GTS in excellent condition. This is not a concours car but is in very good condition with no expense spared.
The car is very rare as there were very few RHD Giallo Fly cars ever built and is an appreciating asset.
At Ferrari events, the car attracts a lot of attention as it is strikingly different to the standard red cars.
There are optional extras that were factory fitted including 16 inch magnesium alloy wheels, air conditioning and the low front spoiler.
This is an appreciating asset and will be worth over £100,000 in the next couple of years based on recent growth figures for the 308
This car was subject to a full engine rebuild less than 14,0000 miles ago with new valve guides, bearings, shims, gaskets, cam belts and tensioners.
The brakes have had a full rebuild and the handbrake actually works (which is rare for these cars)!
Total mileage is 87,014
The body was fully restored in 2013 and the paintwork is magnificent (bar two very small stone chips on front spoiler).
In the last six months, on top of bodywork and engine work, a further £10,000 has been spent reverting from ECU to distributor (full rebuild) and coil, carburettor rebuilds, sorting the brakes and handbrake, sorting the fuel pump and oil sender unit and restoring the interior with new leather seats and carpet set. A small oil seal leak has been sorted and all belts changed
The car is a delight to drive and any inspection welcome. The car comes with the original bill of sale and receipts dating back to the 1980"s are also present.
