Subaru Forester 2.5XT
Interior clean with no tears, little wear on the drivers seat but nothing major. Everything works apart from the drivers side electric window which was steadily getting slower and slower before finally giving up the will to live last week.
Mechanically very good with new battery, discs and pads, new turbo after the bearings failed (£850) recent new drop link, top strut bearing, ball joint. New clutch fitted approx 20,000 miles ago. Full Subaru service history until 109,000 then I have serviced her myself with oil changes every 5000. Cam belt changed at 92,000 Current mileage 138,791 although it is in daily use.
The only thing that lets her down is the body work which I was going to get done this winter but due to a change of work I need something a bit cheaper to run up and down motorways, the rear wheels arches have the usual rust and there is various scratches and car park dings all over and annoyingly I broke the rear light just recently, it still works but needs replacing. I have hunted around for a 2nd hand one and they are available for £50-60
Tyre"s have approx 2-2.5mm of tread.
Only advisory on the last MOT was passenger side top strut bearing was sounding a little rough, can t hear it myself,if it does fail it is a very easy job, I bought one for the drivers side and had it replaced about 18 months ago, the cost of the part was £45
