Subaru Forester
W Reg. 133k. MOT Nov 2016. 2lt. All wheel drive with High/Low gearbox settings. Electric windows. Air conditioning.
I am selling this car as I got a good deal on a more efficient diesel car. I use it daily for an 80+ mile round trip to work but as its a 2lt I"m selling it for something cheaper to run. It starts first time and has been a good car since I bought it in Nov. Its a few years old now and has the usual small knocks and bumps you would expect from a car of this age, and has a few odd things that could do with sorting if you wanted to (See bad points below). But that said, over all it"s in pretty good shape. The interior cleans up nicely and all the knobs and buttons work as they should. The underside has been waxed loads during the cars life and is in great condition.
I live in Scarborough and work in York, so if you want to view or pick up the car I can do either place.
Good Points.
Starts first time.
Plenty of service history/recipts.
Recent stainless exhaust.
Recent set of Avon all weather tyres.
Wax oiled regularly over the years.
I believe in being honest when selling so......
Bad Points.
Stainless exhaust Leaks a bit. Don"t think its ever been sealed properly between two sections but the exhaust was fitted not that long ago. It was like that when I bought it but I"ve just lived with it as its not that bad.
Slipping/squeaking belt when cold, which makes the power steering judder for a few seconds after starting.
Starter motor makes a whirring noise when the engine is started, but works absolutley fine. It just makes a noise during starting. Again, it was like that when I bought the car but it works well so I never bothered with it.
Bit of rust on drivers side rear wing (see photo).
Odd small knocks/marks here and there.
