vehicle description:
This stage rally Impreza was prepared in New Zealand by Ray Wilson Rallysport for Japanese driver Atsushi Furuno, the
main rallies he competed in were WRC rounds Rally New Zealand 1997 and Rally Catalunya 2000. It was registered in the UK in 2000, in 2004 the
car ran in Listerine livery and competed in the Ancro Rally
Championship. The cars had numerous top ten results over the years and won the Harold
Palin Memorial rally outright in its current spec apart from having tarmac
brakes fitted then, it beat some very expensive group 4 Escorts, Mitsubishi
Evo’s plus 2nd and 3rd generation Impreza’s.

Negative points
The car has been rallying for a few years so does have
the usual minor dents, scratches, marks etc, the paint work is not perfect and
has been touched up here and there as you would expect on a rally car.
I haven’t put the car through an mot this year as the
buyer may only want it for track days.
Speedo hasn’t been connected since the 6-speed gearbox
was fitted.
Power steering pump is a little bit noisy but works
fine, common thing on these.
Unfortunately no test drives as the car has no mot or
tax at present but did run faultlessly last time out, only selling as I’m using
a couple of old Fords this year.
Sold as seen with no warranty as it is a rally car
after all.
Cash on collection only.
