This vehicle belongs to a customer of ours. He has owned the car for 7 years and ran it daily for about 5 years. Due to a change in his circumstances it was mothballed for about 18 Months. He asked us to asses it to get it back on the road. We replaced the battery, checked the oil & water & fired it up. The engine sounds fine and there is no smoke. The car drives fine. To get it back on the road it is going to need at least Brakes Tyres, the front bumper repairing or replacing and an Airbag warning light sorted out. It may need more than that so come and assess it for yourself. We have advised him that it would probably not be economical to repair. So he has asked us to dispose of it on his behalf. So here it is. It is listed as only suitable for spares or repairs. The engine and gearbox sound good. It has a strut brace and dump valve. It has a really good alarm. An after market set of alloy wheels (which are a bit scruffy). A Good battery. The body is tatty and if you look at the history you will see that is has been classified as CAT D twice in its life (2003 & 2006). There is a fair bit of old paperwork with the car which appears to corroborate the mileage. If you have one you need bits for, or you just want a cheap track day car then this could be for you.
I have tried to give an accurate and honest description. I would highly recommend viewing the car before bidding so there is no misunderstandings.
There is no buy it now price the auction will run to the end. Reserve is set at £250.00 so as soon as the bidding exceeds that it is on sale.
