Here for sale is a
superb example of the Subaru Impreza WRX PPP Wagon (Prodrive Performance Pack),
The Prodrive Performance Pack was a package available on uk Subaru’s that
yielded a power increase from 220bhp to 265bhp via a few selected parts
(Prodrive Rear Exhaust Box, Uprated ECU increasing boost from 14 to 18/19 psi,
Intercooler Y Pipe) I have owned the car for nearly a year but purchased with
the view to keeping it for many years which is to a massive advantage of the
buyer as I have spent lots of money since owning it getting it back up to
scratch mechanically, however sadly a change of job will see my daily mileage
increase and although for a Subaru the fuel economy is not too bad it’s sadly just
not viable for me to use it for my daily commute.
Engine was fully
rebuilt at 105k at a reputable engine specialist at the cost of nearly £3500 (I
have the invoice to prove), this rebuild included the following.

I have all service history prioe to my ownership and reciepts during my ownership.
Oil changed every 1500-2000 miles (twice a year) with Millers CFS 5w40
There are lower
mileage younger wagons for sale but none that have had this level of meticulous
care, you will not find another one in this price range that has had all the
problem areas addressed like this car has, the car pulls like a train and is
insanely fast, I’ve owned many turbo cars but none that pull relentlessly and
hold boost like this one does, on the fip side it drives very smooth when not
utilizing all 265bhp, this car is running the standard and correct boost
management system, many cars out there run Manual Boost Controllers a big no no
on a Subaru!, This car makes the requested Prodrive boost of 18/19 psi and
makes the power it should so that alone is credit to the engine being happy,
Always ran on Shell V Power Nitro + Fuel.
The car has Boost,
Oil Pressure, Oil Temp Guages fitted in a pod on the dash and at normal oil
temp (70/80 degrees) the oil pressure reads 22-25 psi at idle as it should be.
These engines on
forums are for some reason considered to be normal to have a few oil leaks?!
usually from (Oil Pump Flange/ Oil Cooler Gasket/ Rocker Cover Gaskets) in my opinion engines should be sealed up tight, so I have
addressed all these issues and the car does not leak or use a drop from anywhere, when you view the car I will invite you to have a look under the car, I would be more than happy to jack it up and enable you to see that the car does not leak a drop of coolant or oil and it is mechanically well sorted, you will be very hard pushed to find this on other WRX"s out there.
Bad Bits…. Well tbh
the car is 13 years old, to expect it to have no stone chips or a few subtle
dents is asking the impossible, there are a few, but I think you will agree
looking at the pictures it still shines well and looks great, I only have one key however replacements can be purchased.
The car is not
being used and mileage will not increase while it is up for sale so you have
complete confidence that the pictures you see and description here is an
absolute true representation of the car you expect to see if you view or buy.
