Here I have for sale my weekend toy. It"s a lovely motor with stacks of paperwork - even the Japanese history. I have confirmed it"s a genuine WRX STI TYPE RA from the type-ra forums. Only a limited number were produced as this lightweight model and I"ve kept it fairly standard with only a few nimble touches.
I have nearly every single MOT since the car was imported, alongside other invoices etc. It"s been owned by enthusiasts throughout it"s life hence all the history. I have 2 keys with the car. The mileage sits at around 69k miles (111k km) and this is all backed up. I"ve just had a brand new battery fitted too. MOT till April 2019.
The car pulls through every gear with no issues and is in very good condition considering it"s age.
SPEC
As seen in the pictures - comes with factory roof scoop, manual windows (RA), intercooler water spray, factory short ratio gearbox, new shocks and springs (original), Prodrive mats, genuine OZ RACING Prodrive alloy wheels which are quite rare, mudflaps, STI carbon strut brace, TT Racing silicone hoses.
To aid the stopping power - it"s had a BBK conversion consisting of uprated 4 pot brembo callipers.
Aftermarket mods include - cat back exhaust system, forge dump valve, Greddy turbo timer and a HKS boost gauge.
It"s hard nowadays to get a genuine example and I know it"s worth so I"m in no rush to sell. Thanks for reading.
