Here I have for sale my 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX import, 2.0L Turbo in White. To advertise it as spares or repair is a crime, but there you go. I have owned this car for 10 Years and have loved every single moment of it. It has been my daily drive to work and even the wife drives it! But, unfortunately, in June of this year, the car developed a overheating problem. So, here is the low down, I am led to believe the issue lies with either a head gasket or a cracked head. I have not stripped it down to investigate further, the car starts and drives, it just boils over, it is pressurising the cooling system and forcing water back through the expansion tank. A week before this happened, i fitted a new RCM fuel pump in the tank at a cost of £140. I have spent the last three months in a real dilema as to fix it or not, but due to needing transport for work, I have had no option but to buy another car. The car has a lightened flywheel, a decat down pipe and a Magnex back box. It had an STI upgrade to 290 BHP before coming into the uk, but I have no paperwork to verify this. but all i Know is it pulls like a train, even now with a water problem, never had any gearbox issues. The wheels are off a Bug-eye STI but the tyres all need replacing. ( I have change the wheels that were on the car ) There is a row of clocks in the centre console, one of which is a boost gauge. There are no silly mods done to the engine, just a dump valve fitted, my son liked the noise ! As it is an import, it has the rear wiper, electric mirrors, electric windows, etc. The only bad bit of rust on the car is across the boot seal just below the rear wiper, generally, the body is good, there are a few dents and scratches, but as I have said, i used it every day. There is a wind deflector missing from the drivers side. Drivers seat has worn away on the side. The MOT and tax has expired, so a trailer will be required to take it away. Mileage is on 143,045.
