Here for sale is my 1999 Subaru Legacy GTB twin turbo, it"s a 2.0l petrol with 280bhp from factory.
The reason i came about buying it was i am currently saving up for a mortgage and as another way of funding the massive deposit i need i bought this car to fix and to sell on. I bought the car with the understanding that it had a problem making boost and that i could fix the car and sell it to make a little bit of money. It was a great plan....(the girlfriend was happy and i had a Subaru) ive since tinkered with the car and had no joy in fixing it completely i have however sorted a couple other issues it had and the car drives lovely but its only making 7psi of boost.
Since owning this car i"ve replaced both the intake gaskets, throttle body gasket, two intercooler gaskets, secondary boost dividing valve and the complete intake pipe. Ive made a bracket for an oil catch can but i haven"t got around to plumbing it in.
Bar the obvious boosting issues the car is very nice to drive, its an automatic however it has a very smart way of shifting gears. It has the option of holding a gear till the red line until it shifts with a touch of a small button on the centre console and also another button for the snow to prevent the primary turbo from spooling both very nice touches. You can also shift manually too by either the gear leaver or on both sides of the steering wheel.
The car is an import and was imported in 2011 with next to no service history.

It has a small red graze on the front bumper as seen in the picture and other small age related marks
This car would make a great buy if someone who is more capable than i am could get their hands on it, it wouldn"t surprise me if it was something very small that is causing the fault and i WILL kick myself if it is!
These cars are quite thirsty i believe but are plenty powerful, this IS the fastest model they do, and they sound great too.
Id advise that you come see the car so you can see what its all about.

Im a very honest person and i"m genuinely selling it because i"m struggling for space and i"m struggling on my own to find the fault. The car is completely back together and will drive.
