TVR 350i in black in good condition "for a 30 year old car".
Good points:
- Shiny black paint work
- Sound amazing, as you will know
- Low mileage
- Interior in grey in good condition, nice patina on the seats, original stereo (you may want to change this!)
- Chassis is solid, including outriggers, seat belt mounting plates renewed during the last winter. All well wax oiled
- Good service history
- Two good tyres
- Adjustable coilovers that work well, all adjusters work and they have plenty of damping
- Many recently replaced bushes
- Just had most of the vacuum hoses replaced
- Has a hot start to minimise engine wear associated with running the engine while cold
- Good space saver spare wheel
Not so good bits:
- There are some marks on paint work, none of which would be noticeable from 5 meters but they are there when you clean the car, for instance.
- Veneer on the door cards has seen better days, although dash and glove box is in fair to good condition
- Two tyres need replacing. If i end up keeping the car i will replace all 4 to Bridgestone Potenza but i prefer not to change tyres before selling as your preference may differ from mine and i don"t want to waste a good set
- Sqeaky brakes, occasionally
- Roof is water tight but has 4 repairs on the folding roof section. Targa section is fair to good
- Has original stereo, this works but if that sort of thing worries you, an upgrade would be beneficial
- Slight oil leak from under the car, apparently they all do this sir. It helps keep the rust away.
If i think of anything else, i will update the post. I would strongly recommend viewing if you are interested.
I"m not sure how to price this car so let"s start at the advertised price. Depending on levels of interest i am prepared to be flexible. I"m selling as I want a new bike.
