TVR CHIMAERA 4.0
1993 L
56000 Genuine Miles.
Looks great in Starfire Blue with matching Blue Leather Interior.
Original Service/Handbook wallet etc.
10 stamps in service book.
Very little use in last few years except a trip to the Le-Mans Classic in 2012.
The body work is in very good all round condition with only couple of minor marks.
Underside is good with chassis and outriggers all sound.
Mechanically the car is good with sound engine, clutch, transmission, running gear and suspension. It really is great to drive.
The interior is all good with the seats etc in blue leather.
There is an immobiliser/alarm fitted.
The wheels and tyres are all very good.
There is a Sony CD/Radio fitted.
The car is in standard trim and original.
There are a few items that with attention would make this an excellent car:
A new bonnet release cable is required. The hot and cold heater control sticks I suspect a cable is required.
The engine runs and sounds great but it idles erratically, from what I have read this could be an idle control valve although with so little use in the last few years it could just need cleaning and using and lastly the speedo sticks occasionally at about 30mph although again this could be lack of use.
With attention to the above fairly minor details this would be a great usable car.
I am only selling car as I have another classic vehicle arriving and unfortunately I don"t have room for both.
