Well were do I start with this one ! Call me a glutton for punishment but I love Cerbera"s . I saw this one in need of some tlc and just couldn"t resist, you think I"d know better by now ! So to my car, she has had a fortune spent on her and not only by me but by previous owners. I have had a glass out £3,600 paint job done on the car due to minor scratches, chips and the usual stress cracks, I had it painted in its original TVR colour of Starmist blue. I bought the car off the previous owner who said the mileage was correct at 16,700 miles as far as he could assertain and he said the car had spent large amounts of time in storage. Ive done a VOSA check and patched things together with the history and the mileage reads as follows.... 09/07/2004 ....... 15,251 miles 29/09/2011 ....... 15,559 miles 08/10/2012 ....... 15,559 miles 12/06/2014 ....... 15,559 miles 11/09/2015 ....... 15,785 miles Current mileage 16,780 miles All I can assume is like most TVR"s it has seen little use over the years and 2012 to 2014 the car was more than likely trailered to the MOT station and never used. So make your own mind up on that one. There is a large file with the car which details a lot of expense over the years. I personally have spent several thousand on the car as I intended to keep it but circumstances have now changed and I need the garage space. The car is finished in Starmist Blue with Oxford Blue hide interior and cream carpets, she sits on refurbished Spider alloy wheels. Listed below is just a small selection of what has been done to the car .... There is also with the car a copy of the drivers handbook, some old MOT certificates, a large history file and a TVR specialist report on the chassis done 19/03/2016 and in his words The chassis is in fantastic condition and one of the best I"ve seen So there you go , this Cerbera has stunning paint, a lovely interior, sounds fantastic and of course goes like stink ! So thats the good , now for the bad. The car was cat D 15 years ago for apparently a wiring loom fire under the dash with damage to the trim and loom, there are a couple of niggles that need sorting, some times the drivers window does not go all the way to the top when you close the door and the wipers have a mind of there own and thats about it.
