I"m selling my exceptional Cerbera after 6 years of fun.
The key initial points are that it"s a 4.2 AJP V8 with 54,000 on the clock.
It had a body off restoration 2 years ago, 1,500 miles ago.
No expense spared in looking after it.
Serviced and MOT by Andy at APM, 10th May.
It has had all of the typical Cerbera issues resolved.
Chassis - all TVR chassis rust, they were poorly coated from the factory. Not only outriggers, the main rails can corrode where the manifolds burn off the paint and expose the metal. This car has had a complete body off chassis repair, then galvanised and powder coated.
Immobiliser/hot start issue - TVR wired the immobiliser poorly leading to it"s eventual failure. But, before it fails you struggle to start the car when hot. This car has a new immobiliser, rewired.
Clutch - Cerberas eat clutch slaves. This car has the upgraded Raceproved unit fitted when the body was off.
Cooling - The first thing I did when I bought the car, re-core the radiator. Theses V8"s produce a lot of heat, you need to disperse it. Plus while we were there the AC was fixed, so it"s nice and cool in the cabin.
Power steering - the power steering pump can fail due to a broken woodruff key, a 5p part. But, it"s an engine out job to fix it. This car has been converted to the electric pump power steering found on the later T cars.
Rebuit differential.
All new brakes pipes, fuel lines, clutch pipes & clutch master.
Interior partially retrimmed in charcoal/black Alcantara with the instrument binnacle given a double stitch as per Aston Martin.

Upgraded larger tuscan brakes.
Upgraded Racing Red suspension.
Oh, and it"s noisy. A complete stainless exhaust system from the manifolds back to the tails.
