For Sale 1999 TVR CREBERA 4.5 Litre
I have had this car nearly 2 years and have spent that time enjoying her and improving things. I have done quite a bit to her and replaced a lot of items (listed below). If you are familiar with Cerberas you know that they are basically a a British built Four Seater Supercar.
The standard showroom specs are as follows:
4.5 litre engine producing 420bhp0-60 in 3.9 seconds0-100 in 8.2 seconds1/4 Mile in 10.89 seconds at 124.5 mphTop Speed 195 mph
These cars are seriously quick and not for the novice driver as she is more a race car then a road car with no ABS or Traction control. This is the 4.5 NOT the 4.2 or 4.0 speed six
The acceleration is brutal and the ride is very sporty. Her styling and lines are beautiful as well as an interior that make other cars seem just plain boring. She has had plenty of bits and bobs done under my ownership to iron out any gremlins that may have been their and she now drives faultlessly. I will now list all of the parts and work done below. This has all been in the last 1000 miles / 1 year so you know there is nothing more to be done.

If you know about TVR Cerbera"s you know that there are a couple of things to look out for. They are a fiberglass body on a steel tubular chassis. The chassis can oxidize on some of the older models, I checked this car before purchase and it was fine. I also had two garages look and tell me its fine, Merlin Engineering in Hailsham and Sussex TVR ltd (these are workshops where some of the above work was done). Sussex TVR told me the chassis issue was up to the 1998 cars so well before this model was made. I have had the underside of the car sealed with Tetraschutz to add a little piece of mind and she has been garaged for my time and 5 years before with the previous owner.
The body of the car is Aston Martin California Sage Green from the factory. It"s straight with no dents (due to the fact it is fiberglass) and the paintwork is o.k. with a few scratches and some light imperfections here and there on the front wings and a couple of small cracks in the paint on the rear bumper. If you were an ultra perfectionist then you might get the paint done its not perfect as its a 16 year old car but I have been happy with her and I"m quite fussy.
There is a service history (last picture) and a load of bills and paperwork with the car. The last owner had it in his 12 bay garage with a number of other supercars which was heated and carpeted. He barely used it for the time he had it (I think he just liked looking at it). Its MOT"ed till September and has flew through both previous MOT"s.
The engine is very sweet making all the right sounds (like the overrun exhaust popping) and as stated recently tuned with those throttle pots. On open throttle she sounds Awesome.. There is no smoke or oil leaks and she idles fine. The Clutch and Gearbox is like brand new (as they basically are) and the suspension is firm but very forgiving. All in all this is a great car with the looks to match, I have yet to be out in it, without someone commenting on how beautiful she is, but be prepared to have plenty of questions like wow whats that and how fast do it go etc...
The Number plate is not being sold with the car, but if you really want it add £1500 onto the final price and its yours.
