2005 Speed Six in Rolex blue.
The car was originally exported to Japan from new in 2005 for a company called the Cubic Corporation. (As can be seen on Export certificate)
It only covered in the region of 6000km in the 9 years it was in Japan.
It was imported back to the UK in 2016 and was kept in storage until I bought and UK registed by myself.
The "Rolex Blue" paintwork is the original TVR colour and is almost flawless. The car has had some paint work after it left the factory but it"s of extremely high quality.
The speedo reads 0-300 and is in Kph and is now showing 7040km (4375 miles)
The chassis does not have a single spot of rust anywhere at all.
All the wheels are perfecty straight are a brilliant silver colour and are wrapped in brand new continental sport contact tires.
It starts perfectly and has no rattles at all, it runs smooth, feels much more refined and dare i say it more powerful than the 4.2 version. Being such a late model it does not suffer from having the components that were prone to failure on the early ones.
MOT till December 2018
Now the bad points,
There are a few niggles with the car.
The auto window drop mechanism does not work.
The air con does not work
The steering wheel button functions for the full beam and horn are intermittent but the wipers do work.
There isn"t any service history with the car, however the proof of mileage is on the export certificate, and it"s easy to tell how little miles the car has done as the underside of the car/chassis and drive train are still bright and fresh with the original felt tip pen and stickers there from when it left the factory.
I have driven this car for 1000kms and even been stuck in traffic flor an hour where it performed without a fault.
This is one of very few cars that were exported to Japan and even fewer in the amazing Rolex Blue. All though this doesn"t make much difference in the real world it does make the car unique and has a better story than most.
If there was service history and no faults with the car I believe it would be worth in excess of £40,000 due to the mileage and the fact the price of TVRs seem to be sky rocketing with the release of the new Griffith.
